Successful participation in the Andorra Sports Innovation Summit

Resounding success in attending the Andorra Sports Innovation Summit with sports and innovation experts. The event held on the 18th at the Auditori d'Ordino has been organized by Andorra Business, Andorra Recerca + Innovació and the Global Sports Innovation Center powered by Microsoft (GSIC), with the support of SPSG Consulting.
With the aim of positioning Andorra as an international benchmark in the sports and innovation industry, the conference had representatives from different international entities from both sectors such as Microsoft, the International Ski Federation, the Vuelta, the Tour de France, mountain equipment companies, Ironman, and prominent local actors such as Grandvalira, Vallnord-Pal Arinsal and Naturland.
The presentations and round tables have addressed the latest trends in the sector before more than a hundred attendees, mostly professionals in the sector. Following the line of innovation, several local and international startups have also participated in the event, among them the winners of the Andorra Sports Startup Challenge (Snow 51, Xeerpa and Moonbikes) for the best projects.
Renewal of the agreement with GSIC by Microsoft
The Andorra Sports Innovation Summit has also served so that the Minister of Presidency, Economy and Business of the Government of Andorra, Jordi Gallardo, and the general director of Sports Industry of Microsoft, Sebastián Lancestremère, sign the renewal of the contract with GSIC by Microsoft to continue positioning Andorra at an international level as a benchmark in the ecosystem of startups, innovation and digital transformation of winter sports, mountain and cycling.
